I can’t even believe how quickly November is moving already! This week brings with it a beautiful fall rain storm that is sweeping through town. Oh, how I love the rain!! As I enjoy a hot cup of tea while writing this post, I begin to think about Thanksgiving and all the fun and full days leading up to it that will be happening soon for all of us. Thanksgiving brings so many wonderful memories of times spent with family, yet what resonates with me is how my grandmother used to style her table for the big feast.
My grandmothers home is the most beautiful Spanish Revival home I have ever been in. Tall ceilings, plaster walls, crown moldings, the wood floors, the chandeliers; it all brings me just the fondest memories of the holidays. My grandmother is an artist and she also loved to host parties. She styled each occasion with such style and beauty, it is something that I love to think of as I go and style my own Thanksgiving Day table for my family. I love to incorporate new and old pieces for an eclectic and gathered look. Here I styled fresh California grown roses with vintage china and silverware, vintage inspired glassware and simple glass bud vases.
I hope you enjoy this Thanksgiving Day flower inspiration as you plan and design your own holiday table. I would love to hear some of your favorite go to styling tips for your families holiday gatherings, comment below.
